Black Gold, Blackwell's Fine Jamaica Rum is distilled and blended by J. Wray and Nephew ltd, however make no mistake, black Gold is not a repackage or branded appleton V/X. Chris  went back to his family's age old recipes,dating as far back as 1625.  Black Gold is aged and infused with tropical fruits, with a rich dark colour, and a mellow finish, but it still retain the sharp, fiery  character of traditional dark rums.
