Using their own dedicated sugarcane crop in Trinidad, Pineau set about creating a new method/style of rum production by using sugarcane juices as oppose to mollases and using only the first press from the sugar cane. Double distilled in imported charentaise pot stills and aged in limousin oak barrels, the result is a fresh, crisp light rum, with a lemon line colour.
